shippingstate hard set after billingstate selected

    Here’s something odd in checkout.

    When customer gets to checkout, the Billing state has a text field, but the Shipping state does not. There is no text field for Shipping state.

    Then, when enter Billing state, select “Shipping Same as Billing,” the system adds the Billing State to the Shipping state area. We can’t have this, because there are no states for some European countries or if the shipping and billing state are different.

    Here’s the proces:

    1. Enter all billing details
    2. Select a billing state
    3. Tick the shipping same as billing box
    4. Un-tick the shipping same as billing box
    5. State in shipping field is hard set to billing state

    Anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

    We’re still on Version 3.8.10.1 Custom, as the former developer may have made a custom fix and we’re not sure yet if we can upgrade to the latest version of WP Ecommerce.

    But, the issue shouldn’t be related to that. Is this in the setup somehow? We need to be able to select the Shipping state separately from the Billing state.

    The checkout fields processing has changed significantly from what you are running to the current version.

    Unchecking the same as billing field definitely opens up the editing for the field in the current version of WPeC
