    Good afternoon,

I have a query about your wordpress plugin/Shipstation Api.

When I create and complete an order on shipstation it correctly updates the Shipment Tracking field in my order on my website (I’m using the official WooCommerce Shipment Tracking plugin: https://woocommerce.com/products/shipment-tracking/), however, the order carrier provider always gets set as ‘other’ and not the correct providor.

I use DPD.co.uk mainly and ParcelForce. Both return ‘other’ as their carrier instead of being set correctly.

As a result, the tracking link in the completed email which is sent out to visitors doesn’t work. Yet if I set the correct provider in the orders page, it works fine, but doing this manually is not feasible.

Why is it that if I use say DPD as my shipping provider on ShipStation, that my order on my woocommerce website is updated with ‘other’ instead of the correct provider?

Is there a way to sync the providors? This seems like a bug which should work correctly.

Could I please get some assistance ASAP.

    Thanks,
    Paul

    Hi @pthomson87 ,

The Shipment Tracking plugin should be handling those correctly, and we may need to take a look at what’s happening there. Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Tickets. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.
