Help please.. I still can’t make it work..
Can’t visit the store page – output is Error 404

the product link to the Shop was suppose to be
https://www.anvilpublishing.com/shop/%product_cat%/%product%

when choose shop base or shop base or imprint/category
it turns to Error 404, it is stuck on default and can’t open store.

Changing the permalinks doesn’t do anything..

Taking a look at the site, I see that your shop seems to be loading here: https://www.anvilpublishing.com/shop-anv/

In the Status Report, I see that the Shop page is set to Shop base: #55 - /shop/, however as you mention, the https://www.anvilpublishing.com/shop/ URL just returns a 404.

It’s possible there might be code somewhere in your custom theme or a plugin that is explicitly setting the URLs and overriding the settings. Alternatively, I see you have a few different caching plugins active, as well as your Cloudflare CDN. It’s possible things are not being cleared when changing the settings, and so you are still seeing the old version.

To narrow down what is causing this, please temporarily switch your theme back to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce, then check to see if the issue is fixed. If it is, then you can switch your theme back and reactivate plugins one-by-one until you find the one that is causing the issue.

@kellymetal Hello sir, i have to carry out a temporary solution to get the Products Archive working as the website must not have errors or any downtime.

I changed the /shop/ to /shop-anv/ to make it work..
but i can’t use the /shop/ anymore..

for the time being the Issue was temporarily solve by the custom base which was /shop-anv/

To avoid affecting your customers on the live site, you could do the testing on a staging site. If you don’t have one already, your hosting company might offer one as part of your package. Alternatively, you can use a free plugin like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/

i really have troubles with permalinks and I’m trying to find the way to fix it, if you’ll scan the support forum I also got an on-going problem with Author Permalink with WooCom and MyBookTable..

actually i have an exact copy of the official website as my testing and staging site.. what amazes me is that on the trial and testing site WooCommerce works fantastically..

Oftentimes, caching and CDN functionality are automatically disabled on staging sites, so that could indicate an issue with one of those. I would definitely recommend checking deeper into that, and perhaps temporarily disabling them on the live site to see if it makes a difference.

I do see your post in the MyBookTable plugin forum as well — in that situation, since the issue goes away when disabling that plugin, it would seem to indicate an issue with the plugin specifically. Hopefully their support team has an answer for you regarding that issue soon!
