• I use the Shop Manager roles with some modification to the permissions for other elements of the website. I have created 3 Shop Manager roles and one persona assigned to that role cannot view or add new attributes when creating/editing products. So when he tries to add new products he cannot select from existing attributes nor add new ones like color: blue, red, yellow…. or size: S, M, L, XL… (those are attributes you can create to setup product variations).

Any idea how to fix this or even give an idea as to where this can be fixed. WooCommerce has worked me diligently to find a solution but so far nothing has worked. Hopefully I can find help here.

    Thanks, Lyse

    Hi @tremblayly

Could you confirm that you assigned 3 users to customized Shop Manager role and only one user cannot add or view new attributes? If so, I’m afraid that we won’t be able to help you without access to <span class=”prokeys-snippet-text”>WordPress dashboard</span> and we are not allowed to ask you about credentials.

    H

I confirm that all 3 Shop Manager roles have the same issue.

The issue with selecting the attributes is that, even though there are hundreds of attributes to select from, only a handful show in the search. As a result when trying to add the attribute, it comes back and says it already exists (but it can’t be accessed).

    Thanks

    Lyse
