Shop Owner Notification not working

    Hey there,

    I am setting everything up on my server and I can not figure out what I am doing wrong.
    If I make an order my customer gets an email, but the store owner doesn’t.
    If I cancel an order, the customer gets notified, but me (store owner) not.

    Is that intended behavior? Shouldn’t I get notified whenever there are changes made?

    I googled and found many with issues that emails are not getting sent, but I get emails, just no Admin emails.
    – I checked all email notifications, and they are all enabled
    – I don’t have Commas or anything in my Company name

    I assume also that my server is configured correctly, since I am able to send emails, otherwise my customer wouldn’t get emails. Am I assuming correctly?

    PS: I updated to latest Woocommerce which did not solve the issue :S

  • Hi n3ssi3,

    by way you described the issue, it seems your wordpress does indeed send emails properly.
    there are still various of reasons why admins will not get notified.

    Can you post some detail about website (url for start, cpanel or not, hosting company)?

    One more question – where are your emails hosted (on what domain your admin email is, one you are not receiving emails to)?

    Nessie,

    If some of your emails are sending, then there’s not a problem with the sending functionality. Perhaps your email service is filtering the Admin emails, so check your SPAM folder and settings. You can replace the email recipient with an alternate address(like a free Gmail account) to see if you receive emails through an alternate service.

    thanks everyone for the input….
    I got all the emails delivered now (to my email [email protected]).
    they just took them over 24h.
    Anyway this is not a WooCommerce Issue anymore ??
