Shop Page Customisation

    Hi,

    I’m looking to customise this page in a number of ways however can’t find any related controls in the Astra customiser.

    Specifically, I want to be able to

    1. Remove the grey background area behind the categories.
    2. Reformat the category headings (background colour and category title location) – on mobile view the category headings obstructs the images more that I’d like.
    3. Reduce the spacing at the top of the category container.

    Can anyone assist me at all or direct me to where I can find a solution? I would class myself as a beginner.

  • Hi @rob3243,

    All the options related to the Shop / Archive Product page are available on the Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Catalog. There’s also some options available under Products Title Area once you enable it.

    Hi @bsfherman,

    Thanks for the response. I have managed to resolve the issues relating to the background and spacing but still having difficulty editing/customising the category headers that appear on the images (not the page title area). There are no controls for this in the customiser that I can find.

    I’m looking to customise the white rectangle and text. It displays ok on desktop and tablet but needs bit of tweaking for mobile devices (opacity and location on the image).

    Is there a function or workaround for this at all?

    Resolved. Managed to sort this out with a bit of self learning and CSS tweaking to adjust the transparency.
