Shop page remote images of different sizes

  • hi,
    am having some issues with remote images on the shop page.

    i am not really a coder but have a very very basic undertanding of how it works.
    i have a plugin on the site which pulls products from amazon, flipkart and other affiliate sites to display on the shop page. the plugin also pulls the remote images associated with the products.

    however i have tried to use woocommerce>settings>Products>Display>product images, and setup the three specific pixel sizes for the catalogue images(300×300), single product images(600×600) and product thumbnails(180×180)

    The issue being that the remote images once positioned, in theory, should fill out a predefined ‘container’ for the designated output. which in my understanding, for the catalogue images is 300x300px, should fill the container of 300x300px if the image is smaller it should stretchout and if larger should shrink to meet the predefined constraints. However, this is not the case, the remote images are misbehaving and i have all different sizes of images in the product catalogue. All signs point towards and issue being with the Theme.

    can you assist me to fix this through some means till an update is scheduled. if there is some custom CSS out there to solve this specific problem, it would be fantastic.

    Which plugin are you using to pull the images remotely? And is it working fine with other themes, or having this issue with all the themes?
