Shop plugin which allows me to sell large videos?

  • Hi there,
    I have searched for hours but no solution!

    I want to sell videos on my website. The kind of option where they pay using paypal then a download link gets sent to them.

    However, each plugin I have tried allows a small file size limit ?? I have spoken to my host who will not change the php.ni to allow larger files.

    So my only solution is: Upload the videos using FTP…

    However, how can I find a plugin which will allow this and then be able to securely send the link for the customer to download without telling them the real location if you get what I mean?

    As you can tell I’m in quite a pickle!

    Any advice greatly appreciated!

  • your host should not be the one changing your php.ini, you should be able to upload any changes to your php.ini right to the root of your FTP. If you’re using PHP5 just change the file name to php5.ini. I’m experimenting with wpstorecart (free) and I’ve got the limit up to 200MB. We’ll see if it works.
