Shop Section on Home Page Product Sorting

  • Is there a way to change the order in which the products appear in the shop section of the home page?

    I’ve changed the product sorting in the categories but they don’t change on the shop section of the home page. I tried to find how they’re sorted currently but can’t see how they’re sorted currently

    I’ve realised now, 1 minute after posting this, that they are sorted by newest product first. Is there a way of changing this sorting or should I continue to change the “Published Date” on the product to workaround?

    You can possibly use a plugin which would allow you to add more sorting options.
