Shopp with color selection

Hi everyone. I have installed shopp 1.3.10 plugin on my WP 4.5.2 to manage t-shirt selling on my webpage. While setting up products in shopp is pretty strait forward I’m now facing the problem how to allow users to select colors of the shirts. I have 2 variants defined in shopp, one is Size (S,M,L,…) and another is Color and price is also defined by these two.

So a user can now select a shirt from the store front and gets it’s details: images, description and both variants. Now for the size it is ok to select it from the drop down, but selecting color this way is a bit old school style. Most sites in the same business have an interactive color pallet underneath and when a user clicks on the red color or blue the images changes accordingly.

So I need to provide similiar functionality. I have images of all colors of the same shirt, but don’t know how to link them to my variants. The best way would be so that user can select the desired color either from the variant dropdown or from the images of the product.

Any ideas how could I accheave that? I came accross this commercial plugin Has anyone used it? Or do you have some better suggestion? Mayn thanks in advance.
