Shopping Cart Icon Not Showing

I recently activated Woocommerce so I could set up a cart icon on my main header in my Customify theme (eventually linking to a products section). Woocommerce is up and running in WordPress with store page ready to be made, but no matter what I do, the cart icon simply will not show up in the main header. I have messed around with all of the possible settings in the “shopping cart” section and nothing has worked. I have been trying non-stop for several days to simply get the icon to show up, but nothing. Can anyone explain why this seemingly simple feature refuses to work? It was not working before and is still not working even though I was told I needed to activate Woocommerce for it to show.
