shopping cart icon showing a different font in page i created

    Hi I have an issue with this page (i created form scratch with elementor) showing a different icon compared to other pages i created modifying exisisting pages that I imported using one of your sample sites. Do you know how I can fix it? it is like elementor is calling a different font-awesome version. Also in the same page, social media icons (on the footer right hand corner) are missing. If I enable elementor compatibility for FA 4 I get the social icon to show, but I still see the different shopping bag font. Any hints? Thank you!!

  • Hi,

    When you enable the option Load Font Awesome 4 Support of the Elementor plugin. It loads the Font Awesome 5 Free, so the icon looks a little different. See my screenshot https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGuKeRZZ.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.The support to font-awesome 4 was already disabled in Elementor. Enabling/disabling it fixed the rendering of the social icons but not the cart icon. But thank to your hint I found a php snippet to deregister elementor’s font-awesome and now everything is working as it should !
