    Hi,

I maintain a client’s website and recently did some plugin and theme updates. Since then (at least I think) the shopping cart widget no longer appears in the sidebar. When I add the widget in the customizer, it also remains empty/white. However, all other widgets work. In the source code, the widget element is apparently added, but it is not displayed on the website, not even the headline. The shopping cart page displays the products normally. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • The widget is being styled by your theme, not by WooCommerce. The theme is applying style of opacity:0, position: absolute and visibility: hidden, all of which hide the widget.

You’ll need to go to the theme developers support service. You have installed version 2.0.0 of your theme, and this was published only yesterday. It looks like this has issue has escaped their quality control.

If you don’t want to wait for the theme developer to sort it out, you can take a backup and then try to rewind the theme to the previous version, 1.2.2.

Thanks a lot, I had overlooked that! I’ll try it at the theme support then.
