Shopping cart pluggin with customer input?

    Hi,
    I am new to wordpress and am trying to create a site which allows me to display items which customers select to purchase, then through the checkout process they can submit details and upload a photo.

    Is this readily available in any of the e-commerce pluggins and also is there a particular theme which works better with this type of business?

  • eShop doesn’t do this, I don’t know about the others.

    However I dare say all plugin authors would be willing to consider your enquiry(ie coding something specifically for you) if you contact them directly.

    Hi Rich,
    Thanks for your response. I ended up installing WP e-commerce which seems to have this function but am having trouble customising it to suit my needs. I can’t seem to get the fields I’m after in the checkout (ie user input and browse for image). You can only get to them once you have bought a product by clicking on another link.

    Ultimately I really need to have user add multiple images too but this can only be done by purchasing ‘gold’ product. I need to look into this further before making this committment.

    A lot more fiddling ahead for me I’m afraid. I only have limited html knowledge so a bit of a challenge!!

    Any ideas from anyone would be great!! Draft site is at https://www.cherrybliss.com.au If you choose ‘baby boy’, there is a ‘click here’ link on the page which takes you to the extra field (for testing purposes only). These are the field I want to appear without having to click further….
