Shopping cart plugin that supports PayPal Subscriptions?

  • Is there such a thing as a Shopping Cart plugin, free or paid, that will support PayPal subscriptions / recurring payments to sell products/services, NOT a membership site?

    Failing that can anyone recommend a free/low cost shopping cart that does support PayPal subscriptions that could be integrated with WordPress?

  • The PHPurchase WordPress Shopping Cart plugin supports recurring payments through Authorize.net and/or the Quantum Gateway. I know you asked about PayPal subscriptions but thought you might be interested in checking out PHPurchase as well. The nice thing about the way PHPurchase handles subscriptions is that you can easily set up payment plans for products with a fixed number of recurring payments or you can do unlimited (on going) recurring payments. You recurring payments can all be managed from within the WordPress admin panel but all of your data is stored remotely with your payment gateway making PCI Compliance virtually a non-issue since you won’t be storing any financial information on your server.
