Shopping cart turns into an imagelink when I place it in a post

I’ve placed the [show_wp_shopping_cart] into one of my posts. So it sits there invisibly until someone buys something. Problem is, when it appears, it inherits the link from the image that was at the top of the post before, so trying to remove the item from the cart (for example) opens the image lightbox. Any idea what’s going on?
