ShopWP Cookie Check Failed

  • Hello, we keep getting “cookie check failed” on the first page. We have to clear cache under WP shop everytime. This happens every other day or so. Sometimes we don’t notice and sales stop for days. Could you help? How do we make sure the WPshop keeps working without having to clear cache.

    Hey there,

    This error is usually due to another plugin caching the WordPress REST API too aggressively. WordPress uses a cookie nonce to authenticate the REST API.

    Try temporarily deactivating your other plugins and check again. You may also need to disable any host-level cache.

    If you’re using a caching or security plugin you man need to “exclude” ShopWP from it.

    Another thing to look for is whether your website has a CDN enabled. If it does, try temporarily disabling this to see if the error goes away.
