Short Code for Password

  • What is the short code for giving the new member their password (in Ultimate Member)? I saw in another thread that it was supposedly in one of the welcome emails, but I did not see it.

    My UM settings are set up as such: someone registers, they get a “pending review” email, and then after they’re approved on the back end, they get an approval email with next steps. I’ve edited emails already, and I don’t see any short code that gives the new member their password in an email. Please help!

    WordPress disabled this functionality in a prior version. It is not specific to Ultimate Member. There is no longer a shortcode available for this purpose. Giving out a password in the email is not considered a secure practice.
