Short Code for specific file

I am having problems with the Short Code [mdocs cat=” “]

I add a html box to the page, add the short code with the desired foldername inserted, but nothing loads into it, either in preview or when published.

I’ve checked the library and the folder is spelt the same, full of files, but nothing.

Any help would be appreciated!
