short code in html field don’t work properly

Since the shortcode is rendered inside the form field, some elements might be conflicting with the scripts used for the form elements.

We’ve forwarded this to the Second Line Support (SLS) team, in order for them to see if there’s any workaround to avoid such conflicts. We’ll be updating you here, once there’s feedback from the SLS techs. Please note, that their reply may take longer, depending on the current amount of complex tasks.

As a workaround for now, you can use wpdatatables shortcode separately, rather than putting it inside the HTML field.

Hope this message finds you well, and sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue.

We got feedback from our devs, that this is out of our Second Line Support Scope.

The issue seems to be related to the shortcode not loading the necessary scripts to work properly, since the shortcode does come from wpDataTables integration – which is not developers by us – debugging is complex, since it might be wpDataTables integration and not our Forminator plugin.

As suggested by Dymtro, the best approach here would be to use the shortcode outside the form.
