short-code link doesn't work

Hi,

I have recently installed the Floating Menu plugin. It does work on a blog page within the widget area. However, if I insert the short-code into a page, it renders a hyperlink “click here” but the menu doesn’t appear. There is a ‘#’ within the href tag.
