• I took over website maintenance from someone and I do not know where the meteor slides short code was placed. All I know is that it is shown on our home page. Is there someway I can track it? Was it embedded in the theme? I looked in the theme editor section and the CSS Stylesheet and can not find it anywhere. If I want to remove the slides from my homepage and move it to some other page, how can I do this if I can not find how it is being shown on my homepage??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, there are three ways to add a slideshow to a site with Meteor Slides. You can use a PHP function, content shortcode, or a widget. You can find more information on how to do this in the documentation here: https://jleuze.com/plugins/meteor-slides/adding-a-slideshow/

In this case, the slideshow is being added using a widget. So you can go to the widgets section of the WP admin and remove this widget or move it to a new widget area. If you want it only on a certain page you can use a plugin to restrict which pages a widget is displayed on, or make a new widget area that is only used on a certain page or template.

Thanks Josh, however I’m in our widgits section and I can not find the meteor slides widget placed anywhere. That is why I am confused. Where would the PHP function be placed? I already deleted the webpage that contained the shortcode, however I can not find where the slides are located so I can remove it and insert it as a widget instead. Any help would be appreciated, as I am stuck here.

If this isn’t setup correctly, or something is wrong, you will need to dig into your theme to figure it out.

The first step would be to figure out which template file is being displayed on that page, then looking into that template file and figuring out what is actually loading that slideshow content.
