Short code support or lack of it?

There was a fix eight months ago that enabled rendering of old shortcode codes.
Would you mind sharing with us the current version of NextGen Gallery in your end?

That’s our latest version, and your shortcode should work.

Let’s check if there is an existing conflict in your end:
1.- Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery.
2.- Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.
3.- If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could be a conflict with your current theme.

HI Gaby,

I tried deactivating all except Nextgen Gallery and sadly the issue is persisting.

Any other ideas?

We want to take a closer look at that shortcode support issue. We may need to deactivate plugins and switch the theme while troubleshooting temporarily. Would you feel OK with that? Thank you for sharing this bug report with us.
We have already created a new issue for our developers to check this old shortcode.

In the meantime, you can fix the problem by re-inserting your gallery displays.
