• I have tested both ways – the url shows with [/sc] being used

    where you see DTS15OFF is where the shortcode value is shown as expected, but if I choose to tweet this post then the value DTS15OFF is left blank – all other information in the post is as expected Below is the post

     [sc name=”current_promo_code”] [/sc]  more test required again [sc name=”current_promo_code”][/sc] #tradeideaspromo #tradeideasdiscount

    Hi @dtswordpressorg,

    Twitter fetches the metadata from “meta” tags. It seems you are using a plugin named “wp tweets pro” to insert that information.

    I can see that wp tweets pro is not “executing” the shortcode (or) fetching that info from some other location.

    <meta name="twitter:description" content="?? how much is a tesla car #tradeideaspromo #tradeideasdiscount &hellip;">

    Can you please check with that developer to execute shortcode or pick the content from the right place i.e post content and not from excerpts?

    Thanks,

    Aakash

    Hi,

    You can view the page source and see the above line at the top of the page. You will also see a comment with the name of the plugin which added them.

    Thanks,

    Aakash
