Short description stopped working

    Hi,

    I’ve been using the free version of the plugin since November and it’s been perfect. However, I’m after updating Woocommerce and the plugin on the 13th (potentially 14th) Jun my daily updated feed now shows no products in it.

    The reason for this is because it no longer pulls through the short description. We use product variables but only use the Short Description on the main product – we don’t fill in the variable descriptions, nor the main product description. The field we map is Product Short Description, which again has always worked until now.

    We also set a filter so that any product with an empty short description isn’t included – the plugin doesn’t seem to be able to recognise this any more, hence the CSV file being empty. If I remove this filter and reprocess then it pulls through all the products again as expected but the description field is empty.

    It may be worth checking whether something has changed with Woocommerce or one of the recent plugin updates? Nothing else changed our side so it’s not human error.

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with our plugin. We did just push out a new release of our plugin, version 12.7.1, as we found that indeed a very small percentage of users experienced issues with version 12.6.8 (and later) of our plugin. We introduced some performance tweaks that caused the issue at hand. Can you update to version 12.7.1? That will probably make your feed work again.
