Short description sync is not working

Thanks so much for your question! The products that are having the main description synced, instead of the short description, are they variation products? Or does this happen for all products?

You’ve mentioned that the second problem is that it syncs the variation name instead of the short description, so I am assuming this is at least happening for variable products.

To look into this further, it would be great to take a look at the settings in WooCommerce more closely. Please could you raise a support request via our support form so that we could receive admin credentials for your store privately?

It does happen with almost all products, some are synced with the variation name and others with the standard description. About 96% of my store are variable products.

Okay, I’ll raise a support request.

Question: when I’m setting up my ads the url that I see is the one with the variation, for me it’s bad, because I use mostly the variatons for size of clothes. So is there a way to use the parent url instead of the variation url?

As for creating the ads, each variation should have it’s own URL with variation attribute included, however, the parent product should only have the direct URL to the parent product in your store. When you create the ad, do you have the option of selecting any of the other variations/parent product, or does it only give you the one option for that particular product? If you could send over a screenshot of this setup too, that would be great!

I’ve already submitted the form.

Actually this was a while ago, so I’ll have to create another ad to test it.
I am going to try to reproduce the ad and see if this situation happens again.
