Hello, I’m trying to restrict access to specific project categories, allowing only admin and specific users to see them. Each user role (each user will have his/her own user role) will have access to a single project category named after him/her.
The Divi Theme uses modules to build layouts, so there is no place for short codes. I want to create a single page with many portfolio modules, one for each project category, and restrict their access only to the specific user role. Each user will only see a specific blog module.

I have found a plugin that allows me to call pre-made Divi custom modules with content using shortcodes. So I’m placing that shortcode between your plugin shortcode.

For example: [restrict level=”!john”][showmodule id=”384″][/restrict] – for some reason when using [showmodule id=”384″] without restrictions it shows exactly as designed, but then when adding the restrict shortcode it breaks/overrides CSS, damaging the layout. Any ideas? Thank you.

    Thank you for reporting this.

Can you show me a screenshot of how it looks? Or preferably a link to a page, so I can inspect the HTML?
