Shortcode Breaks page

I rolled the dice hoping this would work with 4.3 but…

I’ve added the shortcode to my static front page and the page only loads up to the content section. Remove the shortcode and presto, it’s all fine. The widget appears to work dandy though.

I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme. Any suggestions on setup or configuration to make it play on a static page?
