We have started moving over from Google Ad Manager to Advanced Ads. So the page has a mix of both. There is an ad running on the right margin called wood for the trees which has been set up with Advanced Ads. Underneath it is displaying the shortcode for the ad, which I don’t want. It feels as though it should be an easy thing to switch off somewhere, but I’m new to the plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi babblebird01

    Thanks for reaching out.

Usually, these shortcodes get replaced by their designated functionality while WordPress is rendering your website in the visitors Browser.

If the shortcode does not get replaced, it can be connected to the plugin’s functionality is somehow suppressed, or it is not active. Its also possible that the way the code was entered is not correct.

I suggest creating a manual or sidebar placement for this ad unit and using the Advanced Ads Widget Block to assign this placement onto it and into your sidebar.

This way you can create placements for all your wanted ad positions and gain a nice overview of all assigned ads at Advanced Ads > Placements.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,
    Henning
