    Users have created several image galleries with different IDs, and the shortcode shows the different IDs. But the resulting display always shows the same gallery regardless of the shortcode.

    The problem seems to be that the Shortcode Editor window makes changes to the database which do not get made if the Shortcode is edited manually.
    So you CANNOT edit the Shortcodes manually. You have to do it in Visual mode.

    @wla,

    The shortcode editor allows creating only one shortcode. To create multiple shortcodes you need to re-enter the editor to have a brand new shortcode. As for manually, you can create and insert different shortcodes with this.

    Thanks.

    The point is that the shortcode editor makes changes to the database that are not visible in the text of the shortcode.
    So it is impossible to enter shortcodes in Text Mode. In most add-ins, any parameters that need to be set are defined in the text of the shortcode but, for Photo Gallery, one may as well ignore the text of the shortcode because it has no meaning. The ONLY way to edit is to use the shortcode editor.

    @wla,

    Yes, we have only shortcode editor option, but you can also go to Generate Shortcode section and create the shortcode and copy/paste it if you want to use Text Mode only.
