Shortcode does not display in Divi Code Module

  • Hi,

    I’m trying to get WP Customer Reviews working again after my client went out and hired another developer to design them a new site in Divi.

    I’ve set a Divi module for Code and added the example URL exactly as is from the Settings in the plugin and it’s not outputting any content to the Divi page.

    I’ve left the plugin installed on the home page of the site and active. It’s under the Testimonials block and above the Blog block. There’s some whitespace there but not being filled in with content from WP Customer Reviews. Can you assess what the issue might be?

    I don’t manage any blogs with Divi and it does not appear to be available to download for free. This limits my ability to debug the issue locally and pinpoint where the problem is – with this plugin, or with Divi.

    We use the official WP methods for outputting shortcode, and I’ve confirmed the shortcode is working with several of the downloadable page builders and popular themes.

    I would suggest you submit a ticket to Divi to see what their answer is.

    Okay, so I tried it in WordPress Twenty Twelve and it does not display the sample shortcode here at httpe://totoalmerchantresources.com/test-page. I had to set it back to Divi for now, but even on a page not using the Divi builder it does not display.

    Oh, I’m sorry, I’m still talking to DIVI. So, I’ll get back to you on that. Forgot I had to go back there and tell them. But I also tested on a base WordPress theme and it didn’t display either, so not sure why that happened.
