    Hello
    I’ve been using two types
    Automatic type appears at the bottom of each article
    And another type with the shortcode I put it in a specific place and it appears
    In the article that contains the shortcode, I choose (Disable Related Posts display) on the plugin metabox on Edit Posts screen, so that the related articles would not appear twice
    After the last update, the shortcode doesn’t show any related articles unless I unchecked (Disable Related Posts display) But related articles appear twice.
    shortcode: [crp limit=”21″ heading=”1″ cache=”1″]

    Is this change you noticed between v3.0.5 and v3.0.6?

    I think it could because of the extra-checks put in place for exclusion criteria following a bug I fixed.

    This check used to be in the filter only, which was incorrect.

    Are you in a position to edit the plugin files? I’d like to try an override function in the shortcode that would force the display and so work in your case.

    @ajay Just installed this 20 minutes ago and there’s nothing coming out (except the overall crp_related wrapping element). This is the same for the function and the shortcode. I’ve already cleared the cache.

    @designextreme please check if this is related to the other thread which I just posted above ?

    @ajay This is a fresh install and I’ve kept almost everything unrestricted. I will wait for an update before performing any manual changes to your plugin’s code. It’s not urgent, but I’d like to have something to show my client later today.

    @designextreme if this is completely new and not related to the above issue then it might be another issue.

    Can you please create a new thread in the forum as also install Query monitor and see if there are any errors created or no posts found.

    @ajay The website in question is quite basic and no caching is running (yet). I’ll opt for another plugin that is tested and works out of the box.

    @designextreme Understood.

    v3.0.7 has been released which fixes this. Once again, apologies for breaking this feature.

    @designextreme
    I suspect you might have moved on to another plugin. If not yet, please do see if this version works.

    Hi Ajay,

    I absolutely love your plugin.

    I am using it both on posts as well on pages (manually inserted). After 3.0.6, the manual insert stopped working and I had to revert to 3.0.5 to make it work again.

    Is that the same issue as outlined above? In any case, 3.0.7 didn’t fix things for me. Am I missing something?

    Thank you!

    @marsch

    by manual insert, do mean using the get_crp or echo_crp functions?
    If so, you can send a parameter is_manual => 1 – alternatively use is_shortcode or is_block

    Sorry for the confusion.

    I am just using the shortcode [crp] with a few parameters.

    After updating 3.0.5, those shortcodes stopped working.

    are you on 3.0.7 now? and this worked in 3.0.5?

    Can you tell me what happens when you reset the settings of the plugin?
