Hi, I am using join-my-multisite plugin.

When I use shortcode-[join-this-site] in a page or footer area, and after I click the button it never add my username to the site.

I am using multisite, and I registered in subsite1, for example and logged in, then moved to another subsite2 and click the button [Join This Site] it never add my username to site2.
But the weird thing is this:if I use the widget [Join My Site Widget] and I click Join button in the widget, it works.

What have I done something wrong? How can I fix it??
    Thanks.

What are the options you picked on the setup page?

What OTHER plugins are you running?

    What’s your theme?

Join My Multisite Settings options is this:
    – Membership : Manual
    – Registration : Per-site is checked on
    – I’ve chosen redirected page and it has shortcodes, which are [join-my-multisite] and [join-this-site] as well.
    – New User Default Role : Subscriber

Plugins I use: I’m using many plugins ..
    === Network plugins activated:
    1. Delete Me
    2. Join My Multisite
    3. Login Logo
    4. Remove Email Verification
    5. Set Password on WordPress Multisite Blog Creation
    6. WPMU DEV Dashboard
    === subsite plugins activated:
    1. Advanced Excerpt
    2. CodeStyling Localization
    3. Contact Form 7
    4. Events Manager
    5. Juiz Social Post Sharer
    6. Members
    7. NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati
    8. Photoswipe for NextGEN Gallery
    9. Slide-In
    10. WP-Polls
    That’s it.

    My themes are:
Metromobile, Touch, Pocket, My Mobile Page V3 WordPress Theme and so on.
I am using different theme for each subsites and the shortcode of your plugin doesn’t work in every themes of my subsites but your widget works well.

    Thanks.

I’ve chosen redirected page and it has shortcodes, which are [join-my-multisite] and [join-this-site] as well.

Well that had a funny error. Fixed that ?? I never planned for anyone to use it that way, but I can see why you might. The registration page is not meant to ALSO be a ‘join this site’ page. Still it’s logical, so I fixed one small bug.

When I use shortcode-[join-this-site] in a page or footer area, and after I click the button it never add my username to the site.

So back to that. Yep broken! Figured out why. Will be patched tonight!

I am using different theme for each subsites and the shortcode of your plugin doesn’t work in every themes of my subsites

Which themes does it work on, which ones doesn’t it? I’m curious to know if they’re doing something odd. I tested it on the last three default themes, Theme Hybrid and StudioPress’ Genesis Theme.

Thank you so much about your quick fix. After I updated your plugin to 1.7.3, it works on all subsites.
(For your curiosity, the shortcode with your plugin didn’t work in all of those themes but now it works well with all of my themes after updating.)
    thanks, again.
