Shortcode download scrollbar doesn’t reflect actual download status

When a file is selected and the download icon is pressed the browser shows the file has been downloaded and it is available on the PC. The download status bar that is displayed on the webpage shows it is still showing the file is downloading and will continue to display forever and slowly advances progress but never ends. I am using windows 11 with browsers Edge, Chrome, and Firefox. My website is hosted by Go Daddy using Divi Theme. Website is https://raceclub.info.
