Shortcode for list per year

  • Hello, I need help with a simple shortcode. Although, I thought it would be simple, but it seems more complicated than I thought.

    I’ve studied all the manuals, but can’t seem to find a simple way to show a list of events per year, also past events.

    So
    I want a list of all to come events in 2023.
    I want a list of all past event from 2022.

    What are the codes to use?
