shortcode form isn’t returning any shipping options

    Hi, I have put the [pi_address_form] shortcode onto a landing page as I want users to be able to check if we ship to them before browsing products and placing an order. When I enter my address and submit, it says ‘We do not provide shipping to this location’ but if I look at the same feature on one the product pages then it correctly shows me available shipping options for my location. I have used the popup setting “Show if shipping is available based and also show shipping methods” as per your FAQ. How can I fix this shortcode form please?

    Hi,

    do you use any 3rd party shipping method plugin ?

    the calculator that is present on the product page it checks the shipping method with that product added in the cart (it does that even when your cart is empty)

    where as the short code calculator do the calculation based on product present in your cart so if you use 3rd party shipping method that are configured to show when certain product is in the cart then those method will not show as your cart is empty.

    Oh I see. I would want the plugin to tell me shipping options before adding anything to cart. Doesn’t sound like that’s possible with this plugin?

    It can show those shipping method even when products are not added to the cart

    provided those shipping method are part of the WooCommerce core shipping method

    On my site, I only have core shipping methods at the moment. But it doesn’t seem to work with shortcode and empty basket.
