Shortcode in description

    Hi,

    Is it possible to only allow shortcodes in the description field and not html?
    I read a post saying HTML and shortcodes wasn’t possible, but then it was something that was added as an unfiltered option. Facebook don’t allow HTML but a large number of our products descriptions are create from shortcodes e.g all T-shirts are the same description and this allows us to update quickly.
    Setting the field to be unfiltered has now fixed that Facebook can see a description, but it’s now throwing an error because they don’t allow HTML. So we need a semi-filtered option/html filtered.

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    Unfortunately there is no feature/attribute available that will only allow shortcodes in the description. It is either no HTML/shortcodes or HTML and shortcodes.

    Thanks @supportadtribes for replying quickly.
    Sadly I don’t feel like removing 60k shortcodes and without them we have no descriptions to pass to Facebook so we’ll have to try another way ??
