    Hi Ketan,

When I add a shortcode to display an album slider on regular WordPress page, clicking on an album opens it in a new page with all of the images showing, and that’s great!

The issue I’m having is when I add the shortcode to a page created in Elementor. Clicking on an album still opens it in a new page with all of the images showing, BUT I also see all of the other content that I added to the Elementor page.

Any idea why this is happening?

    Thanks
    -M

    Ketan,

    Hello, again. ??

I just tried the shortcode on a regular WordPress page where I used it to add three different album sliders one after the other, and above each one I typed a title to so visitors would now what each slider was about, and I am having the same issue as the Elementor page.

So, clicking on a album opens it in a new page with all of the images showing, BUT after all of the images, I also see the title for each of the other albums that I added to the main gallery page.

Hope you can help figure this out.

    Thanks

    Hi Ketan,

I updated the plugin, but it did not correct the issue. It does not matter if I put the shortocde on a regular WordPress page or an Elementor page, I still have the same problem.

I also checked your Free Demo page and I see that the problem is happening there. On your demo page you have four different shortcodes — Album, Album Slider, Gallery Grid, and Gallery Slider.

Now, for example, if I click on the first one — Album 6 — a new page opens to show all of the images in Album 6, BUTunderneath the images I also see the shortocodes/content you have for Album Slider, Gallery Grid, and Gallery Slider.

This should not happen because that shortcode content is part of the Main Album page, and not part of Album 6 that I selected. If I select Album 6, then I should ONLY see images for Album 6, and a link to go back to the Main Album page.

Please see for yourself on your demo page and let me know if it can be fixed.

    Thank you

    Hi @clairporium

    Thanks for your detailed response.

Actually this is not an issue. Each shortcode will work as an individual. So if I have added four different shortcodes Album, Album Slider, Gallery Grid, and Gallery Slider on same page and I click on First one then it render the gallery of it.

Below shortcode will work as it should.

When we click on the album then page will auto scroll to that gallery with URL hash parameter so user experience will not be disturbed.

    Thanks,

    Ketan,

Thank you for explaining. I was hoping that this would not be the case, but since it works as auto scroll with URL hash parameter, I will have to create separate pages instead of putting multiple shortcodes on one page.

    Ketan,

By the way, since updating to version 1.6 of the plugin, I no longer see captions under images when I click to view an album. I rechecked my shortcode to be sure I have show_caption=”true” and it is there, but no captions show.

    Hello,

We have checked your issue with our plugin local server and it displays “image caption”.

We have used this shortcode so please try this shortcode on your page and check.
    [aigpl-gallery-album show_caption="true" show_title="true" show_description="true"]

Please refer to the below screenshot.
    1. https://prnt.sc/8ljbTXqANAXI

Note:- Please do not copy and paste the shortcode parameter because it causes the quote(“) issue. Please write manually.

    Thanks,
