shortcode in file .php not in post or page..

  • hi all, i want to show in my homepage (home.php file) only video from one category. if i use the shortcode
    <?php echo do_shortcode("[myvideogall:homepage]"); ?>
    where ‘homepage’ is the category in my php file i see on the website page only the text “[myvideogall:all]”. so doesn’t works.

    there is a solution to use the shortcode in php file?

    In the php file you can put

    <?php echo videogall_display_videos("homepage"); ?>
