Shortcode in WP widget CAPTCHA does NOT work

    Am having major issues only recently with your CAPTCHA not working in the Contact 7 form that loads in a widget. Am guessing updates have caused this issue.

    Some times the CAPTCHA does NOT show up in any browser, and MOST times it will not display in IE v11.

    Have had DigitalCourt’s Widget for Contact Form 7 plugin used from the get-go so tried Deactivating and Re-activating this plugin to no avail.

    Read online that Contact Form 7 shortcodes will now work in widgets, so uninstalled DigitalCourt’s plugin and your shortcode worked in the widget… ONCE. But failed ever attempt after that.

    Reinstalled and activated DigitalCourt’s plugin and… so far so good… but I have to admit this has become frustrating. How long will it be before the CAPTCHA won’t load again?

    My website customer has placed ads in hope of gaining new customers to their website …only to discover this widget form not working properly.

    For obvious reasons, I canNOT post the URL here. However, if you can allow me direct contact with you, I can offer you temporary access in hope of a resolve to this issue.

    Upon checking my customer’s website this morning, using IE v11 to view it, the CAPTCHA is NOT working. Have placed a temporary button to the form that I have added to a web page for now. Waiting to hear back from my customer to see if they received my test messages sent.

    This is what I can see on my customer’s website using Internet Explorer v11 – https://www.eparrs.com/images/Contact-7-REALLY-easy-CAPTCHA-issue.png

    And I have heard back from my customer. All on page uses of Contact Form 7 with Really Easy CAPTCHA working fine. Only the loading page widget use of the form and CAPTCHA is there any problem (as my image above will show you) …rendering the form useless.

    CAPTCHA working again… have left Widget for Contact Form 7 plugin in place due to no response to using shortcode in widget WITHOUT this plugin.
