shortcode is not being replaced

I had to move to another supported ad manager and for that reason I need to replace a specific code [ad name=”HTML-1″] in pages and posts with the following code [adinserter block=”1″].

i thought your plugin would do it nicely, however it doesn’t replace it. worse still, it seems to replace something else (links?!). The code is still there after running search and replace.

Dry run doesn’t help much as it doesn’t clearly show what it will replace (expression is too long to see anything meaningfull).

How can i resolve this and replace the code through all my pages and posts. Or would this be better done in phpmyadmin?
