Shortcode is not working in wordpress 3.0

No – nothing is needed.

It would be helpful to know specifically which shortcode(s) does not work for you.

There’s only a handful of built-in shortcodes, others are generally added by plugins, you’re not adding a plugin shortcode without the given plugin installed by chance are you?

Having same problem – include, exclude, and orderby are not working for me in 3.01.

Any advice?

include, exclude and orderby are not regular shortcodes.

Shortcodes are text that go into the post editor, that look something like this..

Some text in the editor [mycode] doing something

In the example above, the shortcode is [mycode].. are you sure this is what you refer to MacDoodle?

If not, please start a thread describing your problem, else please explain which plugin provides those shortcodes.
