Shortcode issue?

    Hello again!!

    Im trying to use the shortcode in my theme, but when we go see it online, it shows the word [shortcode] written in the middle of the layout. What i have done is put the [shortcode] in the place i want, nothing more. Am i missing something?

    Hey,

    You have to add the shortcode in your post or in widgets.

    If you are adding the shortcode in template is will not work because wordpress has no hook for that.

    Please tell me where are you using it

    Hi!

    Oh, thanks for your advice, im kinda new to wordpress structure.

    I asked that because starbox shows just below the post content, but i wish i could move it a little lower, below the social buttons.

    Is it possible?

    If you have widgets in that zone just create a text widget with [starbox]
