Shortcode modal window cuts off at bottom

  • I am trying to add a shortcode instead of a widget and the popup modal window is getting cut off at the bottom. I can scroll until I can barely see the Default Styles option, then cannot scroll any further.

    I’ve tried this on a live site and a test site and have the same issue.

    Hopefully I’m not the only one with this issue. Thanks for the support and a nice free plugin.

    Hey Azbarley,

    This is a bug I could have never fixed.

    There is a quick way to sort this out – close the window and reopen it again.

    I’ll see if I’ll manage to fix it promptly (assuming it’s possible). Needless to say, my availability is a bit limited given the upcoming Christmas and New Years’ Eve.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I tried closing the window and re-opening, but still have the same issue. I did look at the css in my browser inspector and changed this line from:

    <div style=”overflow-y: scroll; height: 650px;”>

    to:

    <div style=”overflow-y: scroll; height: fit-content;”>

    …and that works until the screen is refreshed.

    Very good. I’m still having issues with the shortcodes. I can choose the exact same options in a widget that I do in a shortcode and get different results. The widget works as expected, the shortcode does not.

    Thank you.

    Due to Christmas preparations, I won’t be able to help you out this week (I guess next week may also be problematic).

    You are right, the shortcode code needs an update.

    Perhaps you’d be interested in using this plugin temporarily: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/amr-shortcode-any-widget/?

    This way you will be able to paste any widget as a shortcode directly within the content of a page / post.
