Shortcode no longer working

  • I’m not sure what’s going on but I noticed that the Top 10 shortcode is no longer working. I have it installed on a page built with Nimble Builder (which I’m about to dump but is not the issue) and nothing is populating at all.

    I tried pasting it into a WordPress page and still nothing. I deactivated all of my plugins except Nimble and Top 10 and it still doesn’t work.

    However, I also have a Top 5 widget on the sidebar for all of my posts and that still works. Maybe I missed something but I check the Top 10 everyday and it was working yesterday. Maybe the shortcodes changed…I can’t say for certain. Any suggestions?

  • Nevermind, I cleared the plugin cache and that brought it back but all the posts are not correct and it’s only listing 7. I have no idea what happened.

    Is the setting on the shortcode same as the widget? Are you able to double-check what’s in there?

    It’s cool. I got it working by clearing the plugin cache. I had restored my site from the previous day and that’s when I noticed it was blank. It’s never done that before but after clearing the plugin cache it started working again. Thanks!
