Shortcode nor Default calendar page show content on default theme

  • Using Twenty-Seventeen the shortcode seem to be working intermittendly.

    I was able to get the default calendar page working, but when I add it to the Frontpage setting the page content is empty

    I created a separate page and used the the monthly short code: [ai1ec view=”monthly”]
    The calendar would display in a monthly view as a single page or in the Front page section alike.

    But I wanted to have the Agenda view on the front page, so i created another page with the Agenda view short code [ai1ec view=”agenda”] but that short code wasn’t working in any of the page configuration.

    Interestingly enough, I was able to use another short code it any of the page configuration so I don’t think it’s the Theme problem.

    Somehow I am missing something essential?
