• Hi there,

Thank you for creating Form Maker. Its great!

We recently implemented Ubermenu. It allows for the use of shortcodes inside of megamenus.

I have been able to insert a shortcode from Contact Form 7. Unfortunately, when trying to insert a shortcode from Form Maker it is not recognized. The shortcode itself ([Form id=”11″]) is all that is visible in the menu.

Ubermenu’s developer says that it will make use of genuine shortcodes but that there’s a chance Form Maker is making use of Pseudo-shortcodes.

I’m not familiar with this. Any insight you can add is appreciated. We are not keen on using Contact Form 7 since your plugin is so much more robust.

    thank you,
    Hunter

    Dear HunterB,

Could you please send the Ubermenu package to [email protected], so we can test it? It is a paid plugin and seems like the free version is not available.

Also thank you for checking with Ubermenu support and providing the information they gave you.

    Dear Hunter,

Could you please update Form Maker to the latest version? Seems like the problem is with the shortcodes, which got broken after WordPress 4.0.1 update. Please deactivate and delete the current version, and then install the updated Form Maker. This way you will keep your forms and submissions. But please note, that you will lose the data if you UNINSTALL the previous version.

    Thank you.
