The shortcode to search only within the current page works, but is not responsive. It is added within code tags, within pre tags.

As I reduce the page width, I get horizontal scroll bars for the whole page. I tried putting the shortcode inside a table set to 50% width, but it breaks out of the table.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to make it fully responsive?

Disregard. I added the shortcode in text mode and it works. Previously I added it in visual mode.

    Hello @sandgroper

The plugin does not include the pre tags. If you take a look at the plugin’s code, in special the function: public function get_search_form($atts = array()) you will see it does not use pre tags. The plugin calls the WordPress function get_search_form to generate the search form (https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/get_search_form/). The last decision about the search form structure is taken by the theme active on your WordPress, or the editor used to edit the pages’ contents.

Please, let me know how are you inserting the search shortcode on the website’s pages?

    Best regards.

I reinstalled the plugin and added the shortcode in text mode, as I posted above.

Now it works fine, with the normal sized search box. Maybe I mucked up on the first installation. Gremlins!
