I’ve created a single series and uploaded two podcasts, both of which I have identified as being part of the series. I’ve placed the shortcode [podcast_playlist] on a page, but when I view it, I get an empty box. Am I missing something?

Did you include the series slug in the shortcode? It should look something like this:

    [podcast_playlist series=”series-slug” style=”dark”]

Check out our documentation article on this for more options on how to display the series playlist: https://www.seriouslysimplepodcasting.com/documentation/podcast_playlist/

I did — I checked the documentation and that’s where I got the syntax. I also tried just [podcast_playlist] and that also brings up a blank box. Oddly, the other shortcodes seem to work and other ways of getting at the podcasts work (a direct link to the series, for example).

I am seeing the same issue as jgold723. This issue is marked as resolved, but it’s not clear what was done to resolve the issue.

As per the last usage example in the documentation for the podcast_playlist shortcode, I added “[podcast_playlist]” to a page on my site. When I preview the page all I see is an empty box where the episode list should be. The other two shortcodes (podcast_episode and ss_podcast) both work, so I don’t think it’s an issue with my theme.
