Shortcode Not Working

I put the shortcode [ai1ec view=”daily”] on an empty page and nothing displays. When I change it to “weekly” or “monthly” it works, displaying those types. I even tested it with a test event for today and there is absolutely no output. Not getting anywhere on the developers’ site, so trying it here to see if someone will respond.
